gsksun4
um, no! LOL Sheesh, Glenn .... is there anyone you don't know?? Think Pete was a Long Island boy and had a few friends from Selden. And there's no mistake in saying it's not Pete, what with that gray hair he had as a child. Heh. And yes, there are plenty I don't know. Like the guy in this picture.
NanciD
Please Read Before You PostIf you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter)If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint. When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit...C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE??Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere. Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to:The *Guess Who* MailboxThanx in advance! All that said and out of the way..Guess Who # 509 ? http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7342/12177834916_cc80033cfa_o.jpg
ajlisko
Pete was originally a Bronx boy and came to Sky from St. Helena's in 61 ... he eventually became good friends with Selden's Paul Auster ... the guy in the pic was a childhood friend of Jimmy D'Amico ... Jersey boy ... one went to Hawthorne ... the other to Sky ... :-)

The other proposal, not so much. One thing for sure: The old "It Just Isn't Drum Corps Anymore" Super Bowl is about to be replayed, but hopefully not on this thread, for the love of Pete. Please, please with a cherry on top, let's avoid this trap and just keep having fun with the funny photos.

That whole "bell front" thing is a can of worms waiting to be opened... and opened... and opened... until we are all sick of worms. LOL. I like the idea behind the "entertainment effect" thing. Maybe it will keep some show designers from forgetting who pays the bills.

Jeff Ream
the entertainment effect is similar to what DCA has now...which is, IMO, the most non sensical misunderstood sheet out there. And if you lok at the results, the teams with the highest scores usually aren't the ones getting the loudets fan reactions. Empire had the loudest fan reaction last year, and were 3rd or 4th on that caption.
ironlips
"...a childhood friend of Jimmy D'Amico..." Now you've got me. Does that imply a Holy Name affiliation?
