Fran Haring
My family in NJ, however, is up against it a bit... to make a long story short. I have a family member who's dealing with a serious health issue.... and the power to their home is out and is expected to be out for several days. Gotta make a few more phone calls tomorrow to see if and/or how I can help. Edited October 31, 2012 by Fran Haring

NanciD
Power companies down here already sending trucks up north yesterday. They know the drill and realize it might be some time before power can be restored. Every unit helps. No doubt there are massive power outages. Nanci, no kite flying what so ever. Hear? Stay safe and fill the tub with water. Beer in the sinks. You can freeze plastic bags of water in the freezer, then use them in the fridge to help keep the perishables longer (Like an ice box) and drink the water when they thaw. And make sure you have a manual can opener. And Don, wear a coat when you go to the mail box in your golf cart, it's only 63 outside. You are awesome! BTW, my broom was in the shop so I took a kite to the store! Only problem was getting back home!

gsksun4
Good to see people checking in and are safe. From what I've seen on the news, it doesn't look good for a lot of people with the flooding and wind damage. Tony, have you heard anything from Dave C.? Jersey got hit bad.
