So what are your favorite performances? Here's my short list: ECJ 98 (Adam Rapa is a ridiculous soloist) Magic 02 (Made D1 finals, after all) CR 02 (Still a great show, often overshadowed by Magic) Academy 06 (Hornline blew everyone else out of the water) Honorable mention/bias pick: ECJ 04 - great soloists, good hornline. Spartans 03 - I rather liked that show and it was the first time I'd ever really been blown away by their horn line. At the same time, ECJ 03 - I enjoy the music of Bernstein. Best performance?. Hands down - Jersey Surf in 2004 - I still have my Elvis wig. I know they broke the rules but they also broke down the "fourth wall" of the stadium and I don't think I've ever had a better time attending a Div.II/III Finals. ...and the lesson from that is..."take the penalty". regards - Jim Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Blue Stars in those days had a bit of a reputation amongst the rest of us in DII/III of coming out absolutely tripping over themselves, but by the end of the season, watch out...they'd be handing your *** back to you on a silver platter after they kicked it all over the field! Can't really find too many videos and recordings of 2/3 corps. 2000 Mandarins Jersey Surf Seattle Cascades Americanos 2001 Raiders Cap Sound Marion Glory Cadets Racine Scouts 2002 Cap Reg SCVC Revlution Blue Stars Cap Sound Bandettes 2003 Esperanza Patriots Spartans ECJ Blue Stars Yamato Racine Scouts Cap Sound 2004 ECJ Spartans - I really like this show ECJ - I didn't march this year so I'm allowed to say, this show was a true winner. Fever Americanos Bandettes Lehigh Valley Knights Citations Blue Stars Memphis Cound Cadets of NYC 2005 ECJ - show was designed well Spartans Teal Sound Oregon Crusaders - LOVED this show. Raiders Citations 2006 Academy - I guess I can can look past all the negative encounters with members of the corps and give them props for a really good hornline. Dutch Boy Cap Sound Citations 2007 JERSEY SURF - favorite show of the year Spartans - CG was AMAZING. Memphis Sound VK This list could go one forever. for me at least, I'm easy to please.
