The field is usually the last thing to go in, though, isn't it? :music:

not really....

the field can be ready well before the non show side seats are all in for instance....or the non show side concessions are not finished...another for instance.

It's all how you prioritize the project schedule.

The field has no bearing on the seats being installed, or the roof opening or closing. My understanding is Lucas is going to have the same type field currently installed at the RCA dome. It can be installed once the floorwork, drains, etc. are done. From the shots and seeing lift trucks and crane trucks parked in the stadium, I would assume the floorwork is complete.

Just keep thinking about show side folks....

It doesn't need to be 100%. Just show side ready.

There was construction going on at Bosie State's Football Stadium when the Boise show was going on......so hopefully the same thing happens with finals. IU is a big stadium though.....

The stadium in Indy won't be complete until DCI has receivers installed to pick up the wireless microphones the hornlines will be carrying... :music:

Can only think of two reasons why field would be done after the roof.

The field contains stadium pieces and/or construction equipment.

Anything has to be hoisted up from the ground after roof is complete. Example would be lifting a Jumbotron over the 50.

No idea if that applies here, but if the architects had their acts together the field would not have to wait until last. (Have a few architects as in-laws and have heard the "more than one way to do things" talk.)
