Increased Corps Size

Recommended Posts

actually, an increase of ten decibels means that the sound is ten times as intense (10 db = 10, 20 db = 100, get it?)

Actually I have been using material from THIS website as a reference to back up my opinions: http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/jw/musFAQ.html#loud.

There is a difference between PERCEIVED sound and actual decibels... That website basically backs me up. ( get the difference now??? )

Regiment has had a 23-24 person all euph line since 03.

Other than the ones the trumpets played in 06, there hasn't been a baritone there since early move-ins in 03.

wrong! they had a small bari line last year. 6 members i think

Well, if that's true - then you got me. I fully admit that I've been a bit out of touch since 05 (law school saps all my time and money).

I definitely didn't mean to come off as mean in my response as I probably did. Sorry for that!

But, yeah I'm almost positive they had a bari line last year

No worries, I don't have a problem with getting called out if I'm wrong. Of course, now I'm curious.

Edit: Just checked the '07 member list, and you're right - 6 baritones are listed.
