TAFL Posted May 31, 2008 Share Posted May 31, 2008 I couldn't watch all of the first two shows. Bleah. I did make it through the third show. The off-putting parts didn't throw me completely out of it. If that is the future of DCI, I won't be watching any of it. I didn't think that was great marching band and it's even less like what I enjoy in drum corps. My : - Try a younger more expressive narrator - So THAT'S what a marching saxophone line would sound like, huh? - Not what I would hope to or want to see from a "Drum & Bugle Corps" - but entertaining from a marching band. - It's a little like: "Our Band - Featuring our multi-talented dude who plays marimba AND guitar and a bunch of other stuff." - Gotta admit, they were good. Not that anyone has suggested this or implied it happening, but they would get their clocks cleaned by a drum & bugle corps IMO. Wanna see a good marching band?
