Linda Slocum
OK... stop while you all are ahead. Some idiot like me is bound to come in and make a distasteful joke... (hopefully I just prevented that... ) More likely you provoked it... just can't trust anyone from Saugus, can you?

Linda Slocum
Just in case you guys missed this on the Michigan City Thread: Madison- BLEW THE HOUSE DOWN after the intermission! The swagger is definitely back No way they deserved to be behind Spirit tonight though. Seems awfully strange to have the exact same score from last night, especially with such an odd number... can't wait to see what the recaps look like, and who the judges were at each venue. Regarding the break down, looks like the pain is residing in the areas of "GE" and "Visual: Ensemble and Guard". The men actually took 3rd in "Brass" and 4th in "Percussion"! Linda Slocum
They are throwing a guard guy up in the air and he spins around and tumbles and then they catch him ! ( I hope ) Looks like it worked... guard scores went up 0.6 from the night before. Here's a recap of Michigan City vs Kalamazoo. Music judges are the same for both nights, although they switched positions. GO SCOUTS!!!! Edited July 7, 2008 by Linda Slocum
Tom Brace
Looks like a tussle for that 12 - 16th spots. The new player looks to be Pacific Crest. Spirit has slid back so the 12th spot is open. Madison's recent climb brings them right in the thick of things. Going to be fun in San Antonio.

I'm not so sure about PC... they are almost 100% local, so they had the basics of their entire show learned before others had their move-ins and thus had an advantage out of the gate. Still, I'm not sure that they have the complexity in their show to be able to keep climbing in the scores. Seems they may peak earlier than some others competing for these spots. I saw them on the 4th and they definitely bested Academy, but can they continue to climb in the rankings? We'll see!
