blueorginal
I think the problem I have with Cadets Narration is that it seems a bit preachy .... Last year "Gods Althetes" turned me off.... this year is no matter how hard I try I can't connect the narrative story line to the music..... also I lost my mom to cancer and I do find some offense with usuing cancer to gather a narrative emotion...and wonder how many women in the crowd might have breast cancer etc....... CavRookoutMom
How come no one in Texas names their baby boys "Spartacus?" Its always Travis. Or Billy Bob.....I can say that because I live in Kentucky. We name ours Bubba.
BugleB
The energy for the Bluecoats is getting there for this show -- it NEEDS raw energy to pull it off. We'll see if they have enough time to move up. Again, though, this is a great corps and a great show that is VERY entertaining. I agree that there's "maybe" a little too much narration during the show (the pre-show is awesome), but it helps tell the story. YES, we all KNOW the story and it really probably doesn't NEED to be told to us, but that's what the amped voice rule is there for and I don't think they're completely over-using it -- maybe just a little. I'm sure there's tweaking a-comin'. Rod, I disagree w/ you on the vocals but no big deal. Are you going to the show in Buffalo?
Galen
And for your halftime entertainment, it's the Gong Show! Could we keep those guys around for when Cadets go on?

DCfan48060
I think the Bluecoats' show needs an Adrianne or Eva Marie Saint character to interact with the boxer to help fill out the story in the slow parts
