cavies79
no no, what I said is it not only has to be hard and clean (which it is) but the whole show has to be brand new stuff we've never seen before? They can't use some previous idea and just change them? I don't get that.. other corps do it.. why can't we? Some of those moves are classic Gaines.. personally I want to see some of them in there with a new twist. Blake, I was actually happy to see the dragon brought back in. That was a Brubaker move from 1986/87. Nothing is wrong with that. To me, if fit the theme of the show. Michael Gaines is very innovative with his drill. pvt_cairns
Should that not be George Hopkins motto ? I don't think he risks it, he's been doing it for years
rifleline14
It's not about drops but recovery. When will people learn this! Shouldn't it count for achievement?
byline
It's not about drops but recovery. When will people learn this! OK, but if you drop, it's still a mistake, so no way can it be a perfect score, no matter how good the recovery.
ContraFart
catching up from the drive home from work so excuse the tardiness i'm guessing just that it's 2 triangles, each have 3 sides, etc. it would be logical.... here's to hoping it's effing AMAZING and they win and boo, BD's blog crashed! as literal art, I did not quite get SCV's design concept. everything from their drill to their guard uniforms seemed out of place....Blue Stars and Bluecoats were much more literal, but IMO also more effective to the point of the show. To be honest I was just bored with SCV.....reminded me of a mid 90s glassmen show.

pvt_cairns
It's not about drops but recovery. When will people learn this! Well then lets all just drop stuff and pick it up real quick, people will still give us credit right? Execution should come first, if you would have caught the thing to begin with then you wouldn't have to worry about recovery would you?
