At the March 29th Sunday afternoon portion of this full corps camp, The Kilties will present a musical Spring Preview Concert of their entire 2009 production plus their signature parade and concert numbers. This concert is open to family, fans, friends and the general public. The event is free to all. WWBD Posted April 16, 2009 Author Share Posted April 16, 2009 The Kilties will be holding their first outdoor rehearsal of the 2009 season on April 25th and 26th at Gilmore Middle School in Racine, Wisconsin. The corps will be learning the entire detailed visual aspect of their 2009 opening number with plans of full performance playing "run-thrus" at the Sunday portion of this camp. Indoor rehearsal facilities have been reserved and secured allowing a successful rehearsal no matter the weather conditions. The corps has one opening in the contra section, and are also accepting applications for membership in all sections as alternate positions. The Kilties will be performing with 41 brass, 29 percussion, 20 color guard, 1 drum major, 1 backfield conductor and a full Honor Guard. WWBD Posted May 1, 2009 Author Share Posted May 1, 2009 The Kilties next full corps camp will be on May 9th and 10th at Gilmore Middle School in Racine. The corps brass and color guard completed the visual portion for the first number at their previous camp (with playing/performance "run-thrus") with the battery adding their final few visual movements of the number at the May 9th and 10th camp. The corps will go on to learn the visual portion of Movement II of the 2009 production at this upcoming camp. One tenor position and one contra position are available for membership application.
