Michael Boo
What about the most famous one, Garfield Cadets' "Amen" at the end of the corps' 1977 show? It resulted in one of the most classic photographed moments in DCI history in a following year when the corps' drum major (John (?) Hannigan (sp?) held up the sign stating something like, "Sorry, no vocal amen due to (something) point penalty."

MikeD
Spirit's "Ghost Train" show of 2000..."All aboard for...." (the town where the show was at the time) That guy had leather lungs for sure!

Also, a bit of trivia ... Take a listen to the ending chord on the '77 Bridgemen's show ... It's a blues variation of the "Amen". It was not the original ending on the show, it was put in during the season, and was intended as a good-natured poke at Garfield, with whom we had a friendly cross-county rivalry. PCSoprano9702
Boston 2000 - Con te Partiro singing Cavaliers 2000 - making wooosh noises. Cadets 2000 - grunt when they kick after the "battle" section PC 2000 - guard made some vocalization when they caught their sabres I'm sure other corps and other years abound. 84BDsop
I believe it was also a reference to the Cadets show that year ("To Tame the Perilous Skies")Anybody ever actually translate the "scat" in Spirit's '86 opener? Dave Landers might know...he was in that line. I asked Sean McDermott (Spirit 86-87, Gahfield 88, SoCal Dream 03-04, Mystikal/VK staff since then) about it one,,,he rattled the whole things off, but darned if I can remember it!
