It's kinda handy when you're sitting next to a rolling Boom Box and you have a couple of thousand watts to spare, too.

I'm on long road trips

Bored

or when I'm just in the mood...

I watch-

when I'm with other drum corps geeks such as myself

when I'm at a show...

when I wanna watch/hear a certain corps on youtube...

every day in the car to work.

diceman radio in background when on the net.

through headphones when on the trails or at the skatepark.

I dont listen to anything after 95 really unless its on the radio station.

Most of my choices are '80's.

I do like to watch newer shows on DVD though, just think the music on its own is kind of lacking in some way.

I'll listen to drum corps on my Ipod when I work out (yeah I'm that geeky) - so pretty much every day.

later,

Mike

Ditto. (I need more shows now. Time to go shopping!)

So why won't you go auditions?

Where on earth in that entire post did I suggest anything along the lines of having a desire to participate in such an ensemble?

Pretty much every day, usually when I'm taking care of things at home or running errands. I love to roll down the windows and crank it up! I will also second playing shows on long trips. 12 minute shows really do break up long trips and keep you nice and alert!

I listen when the mood strikes or I suddenly think of a certain part of a show that I cant remember. I don't like to watch/listen all the time because honestly I will get burned out on it. Its like food, you need to know when you are full and then take a break.

I think XM satellite needs a DC station on it. That would be sweet.

I listen fairly often during the season, but hardly at all over the winter and spring. In the fall I'll listen to the new CDs that have come out. I used to listen to shows a lot more than I did, I used to want to become familiar with every show ever recorded, but eventually I realized there are only a handful of shows each year that I really enjoy listening to repeatedly, and just about all of those are from the last 15 years.
