Iplaytimpani
Phantom is selling their brass instruments. I wouldn't be surprised if their switching to Dynasty horns to match up their horn and drum deal long term. No insider info, just a guess. DoctorNik
most of phantoms stuff is two seasons old,,, so i would imagine, that King is swapping out old for new.. but that's just a guess,,,
CookieMonster
Yeah, considering that I believe King designed their horns with Phantom and for Phantom, I don't see them switching off soon.
ninjaturtle
pure speculation...not a rumor, just thinking aloud... Paul Rennick was/is a Dynasty artist, and PR switched to Dynasty drums (last year i think?)...JD Shaw (and Boston Brass) was a King artist, and PR played on King horns. JD has somewhat recently become a Jupiter artist...so maybe somethings coming? Pure speculation.
raphael18
PR is changing to Jupiter Horns...it shouldn't be that big a surprise. JD's ensemble, Boston Brass, play on Jupiter horns. Now, I'm really not sure about this change, but I know they'll sound great on any horns.
BlooContraGuy
If Phantom's hornline is anything like it was last year, in terms of talent (which I'm sure won't be a problem) then they would sound just fine on any brand of instruments.
