txtubadude
Is it just me, or did Texas get screwed with only 3-4 show this year? Two days of Dallas and Houston each... then San Antonio, then Denton. Thats it?

Thats it? Hmm, you get the entire world class line-up of drum corps in your state for five days. Not to mention packed high energy crowds and a major regional. Boo hoo for you. Thats it? Thats still more than a number of states. And like rut-roh said, you get every single world class corps. No other state except Georgia, Indiana, and Tennessee can say that. year1buick
LOL, I thought the opposite when I saw the schedule for this year. Six shows sounds pretty good to me.
SynthLine09
Yeah, as a texas native I was stoked to see I would finally be doing the Dallas show. Doing Dallas, houston, and San Antonio makes me even more excited. Still not sure why my corps isn't doing the Denton show, since we always seem to be rehearsing within an hour of it on the day of the show
luvs me sum mello!
Isn't that MORE then previous years? We've always had those 4 shows but they were all a single night. Now we have 4 shows and 6 nights....
Dave
And those aren't the only drum corps performances in Texas. Frontier will be performing on April 26, all the Texas corps will be together at the Texas Drum Corps Preview in Austin on June 20, and I believe Gulf Coast Sound is hosting a show, although I'm not sure about when that one is.
