If You Had a Choice, Who Would you march with?

Well, I never tried Cabs, Kay, it's true, and I'd imagine that marching there is fun. There's also a part of me that would love to try marching Bush, because of the demand their book usually has. I did try Reading, though...and I didn't find it to be fun. It was machine-like. We were turning out a product.

Now, some people enjoy that, and Reading's shows have impressed me a lot over the past decade - I have enjoyed watching them. For me, though, there's an inherent joy in playing and marching that I didn't get there. When arthritis stopped me from marching (it's treated well enough now that I could march), I was disappointed (I wanted to play The Planets a lot) but also a little relieved.

What I DO know is that both MBI and ES have a ton of fun. :) I suppose I could add Renegades to the list of corps I SUSPECT have a lot of fun, but my exposure to them has been necessarily minimal. Who knows?

I've been with Bush and Sun so I'd have to say CorpsVets. Even if it were to just conduct "Georgia".

I live in Wisconsin so MBI would be an option,Kilties-no. Deep down I would enjoy marching with Bush.

Yes, I actually enjoy not being able to hang out with friends over summer, instead, I hang out with my drum corps friends at ES and it is FUN!

Weirdly, back when I marched, most of my friends were IN the corps - that's how I got interested in senior corps to begin with. (And yes, I'm 36 and old enough to be so curmudgeonly I insist on calling it senior corps...;) Hell, we all called it that then. *ow my hip*)
