has to be the greatest Drum Corps "original" tune ever created.

Agreed. 110%. Actually the entire Florida Suite, and "Midnight" in particular: the first and still by far the best original music in drum corps history. Nothing since comes even remotely close.

Not the first-'New York Fanatasy' in 1980 for BD, Larry Kerchner wrote 'In Like a Lion' for the Knights in 82, and of course the Cavaliers went to Boo World in 83 with 'Jade.'

I'm sure there were others as well.

Oops... what I meant and should have said was the first all-original music program in drum corps history.
