NR_Ohiobando
has to be the greatest Drum Corps "original" tune ever created. I only bring this up because I set up my Ipod on shuffle today with it hooked up to surround-sound speakers on full blast...and up popped Suncoast Sound 85. That's all I have to say about that. tommytimp
"The Lick" AND "The Run..." (Better than 86, IMO)
84BDsop
AND "The Run..." (Better than 86, IMO) Oh yeah....that MONSTER bass line! I remember seeing it at prelims and the audience freaking out when we realized what was going on....spectacular!

skajerk
AND "The Run..." (Better than 86, IMO) Which reminds me... what bass line put rear view mirrors on their drums? Was that Spirit?

Which reminds me... what bass line put rear view mirrors on their drums? Was that Spirit? I believe that's correct....don't remember the year, tho. Willie85
has to be the greatest Drum Corps "original" tune ever created. Agreed. 110%. Actually the entire Florida Suite, and "Midnight" in particular: the first and still by far the best original music in drum corps history. Nothing since comes even remotely close. Not the first-'New York Fanatasy' in 1980 for BD, Larry Kerchner wrote 'In Like a Lion' for the Knights in 82, and of course the Cavaliers went to Boo World in 83 with 'Jade.' I'm sure there were others as well.

Oops... what I meant and should have said was the first all-original music program in drum corps history.
