They are like spoiled children who get away with talking back to their parents. First, my daughter never talks back to me. Second, she's really going to enjoy that new German car! People have been doing that for as long as there has been an encore, regardless of their placement. You can't just suddenly claim that it's because they got second. Most definitely. Everyone does it every year. Sorry, but some people just like to cut loose a bit when it's all finally over. I can give you a list of at least 20+ other corps that did it when I marched.
