Liahona
How are any dynamics different when all judges except one, cover the same captions both nights? Let me put this to rest. I was at the show and I know WHO Tony Dicarlo is as I marched with his son years ago and he was at the gate escorting corps onto the field and NOT judging the competition. Michael Boo
Very thorough! Thanks! ... Thank you. I was concerned about missing something as it was completed before I went to bed that night. This was the first time I had gone with the idea of exploring the scoring dynamics via the sheets. I was happy with how it turned out. But my brain was very quickly turning into Jell-0. supersop
same judges both nights. All 10... Maybe DCI should take a page from the BOA playbook. If you're going to have a 2 day regional and leave the impression that it is a head to head competition ... DO NOT ANNOUNCE ANY FRIDAY SCORES UNTIL SATURDAY .... ALL 22 DRUM MAJORS PRESENT. That would put an end to this argument. That said, it lies with DCI to make that decision and run the regional in a manner they so choose. brown55061
I know we all cant help but to speculate. Honestly though, we will all know how CC and BD stack up in a few days so everyone just chill! Sorry, BD will not lose. They had one of the largest margins of victory all season long. They start months before most top 6 corps have filled their rosters, they should be better and should win for that reason alone. I know how bad the loss last year had to sting letting Phantom squirm by at the last second. You know they are determined to not let that happen again, I think they will. Rightfully so, its a great show with loads of talent behind it. I just hope some drama unfolds this week. It will be hard to live up to last years champs, the whole top 15 were epic performances. NCSU_Aceman
So I wasn't at the shows this weekend but could someone perhaps enlighten me. Why is it that Crown dropped so much from Allentown? Did they just have a spectacular performance on Saturday or a bit of a slack performance on Sunday? Basically what I'm wanting to know is Saturday's score or Sunday's score more in line of where they are now?

Michael Boo
I thought I was excited last year by the competition I was seeing, but the competition this year is unreal. Do you think it will keep getting more unreal each year?
