Galen
I disagree with "Scouts + Mexico = BAD combination." You obviously forgot their 1995 Spanish show.....BEST MADISON SHOW EVER! Not at all. I just remember that Spain and Mexico are two completely different cultures and musical styles. '95 was a Spanish-themed show. It worked. '02 was a Mexican-themed show. It didn't work. MikeN
First of all.... Mike - the Timp/Quint solo was 2002 and was awesome! But both2001 and 2002 were great Drumlines. Anyway, here's mine.... Right - thanks. Oh yeah - I forgot about - 6) 2007 - One of the best intros/field entrances ever - great closer. Field entrance was awesome. Just like all oriental stylings are "Chinese", even the ones from Japan.

hostrauser
I know I'm going to be in the minority with my picks... 1. 2008 - La Noche de la Iguana - Loved this show, and the Concierto Candela closer was fantastic. This was the first show that oozed "Madison Attitude" IMO in quite a while. 2. 2000 - The Cossack Brotherhood - I tend to love shows when corps leave their "comfort zone" and try something new. The show was a mess, but it was a loud, cocky, boisterous mess. The percussion feature and Taras Bulba closer were my favorites in a year of fantastic closers. 3. 2006 - Primal Forces - Liked this show quite a bit, and loved the white-top uniforms. Unlike much of the rest of the decade, this was a "new" style for Madison that worked. The rest... 4. 2003 - Gold, Green and Red 5. 2005 - The Carmen Project 6. 2004 - MadiSonic 7. 2001 - Hot Jazz Madison Style 8. 2002 - Conquest 9. 2007 - Unbound TBD. 2009
ScoutSpinner03
1. 2003 (my 1st year in the corps and favorite show that I marched) 2. 2005 (its Carmen, c'mon) 3. 2001 (GREAT music!) 4. 2004 (best guard I had marched) 5. 2006 (overall, I enjoyed everything in the show. The drill was WAY too hard and concept a little shady) 6. 2008 (love a good comeback show!) 7. 2000 (this show was generally a mess, but the drumline was quite ferocious and the closer was in your face) 8. 2007 (i like listening to the show, but that's about it) 9. 2002 10. 2009
