AlexL
Not to throw gas on the fire ..... but the "switch" wasn't a mandated switch to Bb/F. It was a switch to any key.Just sayin. G should still be alive and well ..... with no ill will forwarded from the judging community. financial reasons are probably the biggest reason they all are on Bb
BigBadMadMan
does EVERY thread on here have to drop back to G bugles? I mean seriously... its been how long since the switch was made? 10 years...and as you can see, the argument rages on. But it shouldn't derail the thread. Nice Fallout3 avatar, by the way. I'm waaaay too familiar with that beast of a game. Edited August 28, 2009 by BigBadMadMan

I rather like the one with the black shirt, cuffs, and red tie, myself....still want white gloves....with white pants.
Joelle
First and foremost DVD never "leaves" a corps.... Second...Are you all ready to hear a completely different sound out of the Scouts hornline? DVD doesn't have to work with every corps to get the DVD sound......they just have to hire brass staff that has been taught by DVD, just as Crown and Blue Stars did. I am looking forward to seeing what Scouts produce for 2010!!!! Semis 2010 4 corps with that beautiful beautiful sound!!!! All 4 at different levels...... Scouts fighting back for finals, Blue Stars fighting to move higher up, Crown pushing for their 1st championship, and Star Alumni!!!! ####, I just got excited!!!!!!! Can we skip the winter months and go straight to June?!?! Since I'm a guard chick.....pssst.....a hornline can only carry a corps so far.....:)

BigBadMadMan
If Mr. Jim Mason is coming out of his self-imposed DCI retirement, I wonder what else is coming. Can't wait to see if this is it or if there will be more excitement to come! And here I was thinking college football was all I had to look forward to in the next few days! Piper
I'm getting way too old, dumb and ignorant for this, but if you'll pardon the question, exactly who is Jim Mason and what does he do?
