Is there any announcement (or rumor) about a need for a new brass head? I realize that if Crown is still trying to figure all of this out, there won't be any announcement. I'll also take this as a chance to say how surprised I am that Crown's web site didn't make a bigger deal out of their great finish this year or the Jim Ott award. Yes, there was a story, but even that was linked to the DCI official story. For an organization that has steadily climbed the ladder, I expected the official web site to scream Congrats Crown! You do realize that DVD isn't Crown's brass caption head, right? He's only a consultant, actually listed as "Brass Technique," while Matt Harloff is brass caption head.
