Nice opening with Verdi's Requiem. Pit is really working hard already in the show. Another strong drum line with Gold, too.

Neat technique in the pit - Take the end of a mallet stick, place it on a cymbal, and rotate the cymbal so the stick rubs against the cymbal and creates an evil screeching sound. I didn't know that's how that sound's made.

Drum solo starts the second piece. Lots of high sticking, very intense playing.

Now into Mass, as in Bernstein's. This is a little weaker than the Verdi Requiem they opened with horn wise, but the drums are still throwing down.

Very foreboding third piece, not sure which it is, but I think it's from Requiem for a Dream.

Horns put their instruments down and do some hand movements. Not very clean, unfortunately.

Pit finishes the third piece, very nice moment.

Well, this wasn't in the rep listed on Corpsreps.com, but they're now playing Rutter's Gloria. If it was a recent addition/change, that might explain why it's less impactful than the rest of the show so far.
