DCI age rule.... If your birthday is January 1 to May 31, you will march your age out at age 21 If your birthday is June 1 to championships, you can march until you are 22....bonus year If your birthday is from championships to December 31, you would have marched your age out at 21 and turn 22 after championships.

Yep subtle----delicate or faint The narrative is not being screamed, it is quietly being spoken. Maybe it is the narrator that is the distraction.

A visual distraction is more intrusive to me than subtle talking mixed with music. Having all the numerous large items on the field takes away from the visual presentation of the show and is a big distraction. I can see and feel differences extremely well, it comes down to what individual preferences are---auditory or visual continuity.

Visually distracting is a big offense to me. Watching groups of people jumping on trampolines, non-musical instruments set up close to the side lines, and having many obstacles on the competition field breaks the flow for me. I will not fault anyone for their opinions, I can listen to the music and narration with my eyes closed....when I attend a show it is to WATCH how the music is visually interpreted by the performers...having so many items cut into the visual, is difficult for me.

Really....did you look out on the field because here is what you said about another corps with way less distractions. Cadets. Ugh. The most distracting show i have ever witnessed. Its hard to put into words. The awkward narration ruins an otherwise pleasant and delightful show.

That's really cool wasn't aware that Gold has necklaces. Back in 05 and 06 when I was involved with the corps, we received membership pins, not necklaces. Do you know when the corps started doing this?

Does anyone know if this incredible part of the evening will be included on the Fan Network feed? I and many others would pay the Fan Network price just to see these soloists together.

Cadets will be leaving The Holy Name Cadet patch on for the 2010 season. This was information given to the alumni at their holiday gathering last weekend in Garfield.
