MDempsey
An aside. As a "died in the wool" NE corpsguy...never thought Id live to see the day when 2 solid DCA corps were from Atlanta...and two from MINN..with one contending for the title. I am trully amazed! kevingamin
I've yet to see kilts in Stanbury's catalog I'm sure we can fix that.
Kevin Shea
Nice ballad moment. Half the guard is lying across the front side of the field. Tubas did something similar at the start of the show, but on the left side of the field. Wonder if that will be a recurring theme? Flag designs are all based off the prop Modrian designs, as Linda Doty put it. Maybe if we get a picture of the props, it will make sense to everybody.Come to think of it, didn't Data paint one of those styles of pictures in Star Trek: The Next Generation? Gadget! Keep it rollin!!!!!! Outstanding so far..................................
keyp
Brass seems to struggle for balance at times with the percussion.
Todd Tanji
Using tubas playing the main theme. This is a very exposed horn book.
kevingamin
Nice tuba soli on a variation on the Promenade theme, moving into Young Person's Guide.
keyp
Love the double vs. single push statement. Well designed!
kevingamin
Nice, instead of interspersing the two main themes to Young Person's Guide, one of the theme's is replaced by the Promenade, tying the show theme into the moment.
kevingamin
Very solid performance from the Brigs. I love the theme and they implement it well, both visually and musically.
keyp
Love the visual statement at the end by the guard on the Piet Mondrian flags!!
