our IT says as long as loans close and you don't surf porn, you're fine. Hell they encourage facebook for marketing

LMOA, few years back one of our 60 lb printers was missing. One guy looks around and sees it in a private office which was really overkill. He walks in all PO'ed and backs out twice as fast looking like this --> . Then we found out there were two uniformed Navy guys in there with the head of the network group. Plus a ####load of printed pages....

Long story short... 1 fired, 2 repremanded for porn surfing.... Killer was the fired guy worked in the IT group. Like he didn't know that they keep a lits of the websites we surf....

About 8-10 years back, one of the guys I worked with (who was very religious, never swore, would back away from our naughty jokes and conversations) got pulled into the bosses office. Word was that they found a bunch of naughty sites on his computer, and some pictures deeply hidden on some files when they had to go in and kill a virus. He was suspended pending further investigation, and as it turned out, one of the cleaning guys was sticking around at night and surfing porn on his computer, which was probably the only one not password protected because he "trusted people" (and the dum bass thought it was a hassle to lock and unlock your computer every time you wanted to get up and go do something) I guess what vindicated him was when they figured out that the time stamps on the offending material was after hours, and he hadn't logged any OT, and there was no way he could have been in the building at that time. So they set up a sting operation (webcam or something) and found out who was doing it!

After that we used to joke that there were never any tissues at his desk

Woman I worked with was going to Vegas for vacation and was surfing for places to see. Forget what the site was about but it had a nekkid woman on the banner. She was so shocked she went back to it a few times to show people cuz she couldn't believe it.

Hour later here comes one of the security guys (who knew her): "Roseann... what the HELL are you doing at your desk? You checkin' out those naughty sites and you're a grandmother for heavens sakes". She could have killed him because he said it loud enough for half the office to hear. Then she got PO'ed when he told her... "Once we would have figured it was an accident and not come down. But you kept GOING BACK TO IT??"

Can't remember the details but there was another guy who had a real porn problem and they kept trying to get him to get help and he refused. One day one of his cubicle mates came to my area and asked if he could stay a while. I asked how long and he said "Until the guard says I can go back to my desk". Turned out porn boy was called to the front office (again) but this time they fired his butt and worried he'd get violent. He was calm but supposedly kept saying "What will I tell my wife?".

Sad part is two guys who used to work in my building are on the Meaghans(sp) list for things I don't want to think about.

i only got to do the LKO twice. 89 was a disaster, as that was the first yea of the semi, stuff didnt get strapped in, and we had no warmup due to having ot salvage the truck.

2nd time, holy hell. what a blast!! Even better, as we walked back to the truck, they told us to take all the beer we wanted. We partied at Hershey HS where we rehearsed all weekend til midnight!

Yeah, we got that treatment at the LKO...I guess Templin was working for them somehow (on one of the comittee's etc) and when we did it, he drove up

to Hershey's parking lot in a small pickup truck FILLED with ice and beer, and we had a party!!

Nanci Dunham posted a video of 77 Bayonne on facebook...great show, I can't honestly say I've ever SEEN that performance, but have heard recordings of it once or twice....relevance is that our very own former drum instructor Robb Muller (who has shown up on FB as well) was the cop during the "traffic Jam" part of the show!

I was JUST getting into drum corps at that point, and didn't get to see that show (or the Bridgemen) until their MUCH too early performance at DCI East in '78, (I guess getting DQ'd is pretty much the death penalty as far as any chopping order for placement)
