bccadet09
Heh, I wonder why. It's for the guard.
BlooContraGuy
It's for the guard. Yes! ... And, I really liked the show a lot. I may have been able to tell the mellophone soloist to not be so awkward when she does the little beckoning movement towards the euphonium (baritone?) soloist . But overall I loved the raw ferocity of their brass sound and the music and body movement done in the horn line looked and sounded fun to perform. DAvery
What show from each year would you have marched from 2000 - 2009, and why? A better question would be "What show from each year COULD you have marched from 2000-2009, and why?" And the answer would be none. Too many sets, too fast and I'm too old. Tansea
2000 - Cadets 2001 - SCV 2002 - Cavies 2003 - Cavies 2004 - SCV 2005 - PR/BD 2006 - Cavies 2007 - SCV/PR 2008 - SCV/PR (I love SCV's drum book this year!) 2009 - SCV Now bear in mind I can not stand narration..no no no, can not stand it, also I am a plate guy so I would march with SCV any of these years, since of all the plate lines that have survived the great cymbal dismisal, they are the best. Also, why snippet shows?

big old drummer man
From a drummer's perspective... 2000 - Cavaliers. Great percussion section, lots of energy in this show. 2001 - Blue Devils. Very exciting show. Have to mention Glassmen's drumline though. My favorite from this year. 2002 - Cavaliers. Legendary. 2003 - Phantom. I had a hard time deciding between this and SCV, since I LOVED Vanguard's drumline this year, but Phantom's show won out. 2004 - SCV. One of the best percussion sections of the 00s. 2005 - Bluecoats. Every minute of this show grooves hard. 2006 - Phantom. One of the cleanest drumlines I've ever heard, incredibly musical pit, extremely emotional show. 2007 - Phantom. Again, GREAT drumline, and I love this show. 2008 - I think I have to pick Crown based on their show, but I have to pick Bluecoats based on their drumline. 2009 - Crown. REALLY enjoyed this show, and the drumline played MILES of notes!
Greenteaisgood
This is an interesting thread. For most people you can cleary see who they are a fan of, not much diversity in picks.
