Mello Dude
No they don't.Mike Win You will often find the amateurs blaming good equipment for their failure to master it. These, of course, are the same people that can't figure out that it doesn't take a music major (or even a marginal player) to master 4 1/2 minutes of music if they have a year to practice it. It's kinda like alternate universe where people can't understand what practicing and instruction is.
SkyDog
While they're not my favorite, Dynasty drums aren't that bad. I bought a set for my high school line and I'm especially satisfied when I consider that the quotes I received for Pearl drums were almost 1½ times the price I paid for the Dynasty gear. luvs me sum mello!
I can master a walmart trumpet. Doesn't make it worth buying.
Michael Boo
I can master a walmart trumpet. Doesn't make it worth buying. But it also doesn't necessarily mean it's not worth buying. Marian Catholic High School has done very, very well with Dynasty instruments.
Lance
I'm an amateur when it comes to percussion, but I've always found Dynasty drums to sound pretty bad outside, no matter how good the musicians are.
Lance
Win You will often find the amateurs blaming good equipment for their failure to master it. And you also find plenty of professionals willing to sell their souls to advertise expensive instruments that are junk.
Kamarag
But it also doesn't necessarily mean it's not worth buying.Marian Catholic High School has done very, very well with Dynasty instruments. The Reading Buccaneers have had a fairly good run since switching to Dynasty instruments too.
AZFan
Yeah... Phantom Regiment, UNT, Rhythm X, etc. all mean nothing to the marching activities. Hasn't phantom switched to Jupiter/Mapex ?
perc2100
And you also find plenty of professionals willing to sell their souls to advertise expensive instruments that are junk. How true. And when the endorsement deal includes a piece of the regional sales of Dynasty, it's nearly impossible for a prominent instructor/designer to turn it down. visionQuest
Al leaving was sad. He always was and continues to be a great friend and I know he is still doing great things, but Mark Reynolds is doing a outstanding job at Dynasty. Their service is second to none and their products are at the top of the industry. The rumors of their demise are greatly exaggerated. They have big things on the horizon. Stay tuned.
