Best 1st place corps of the decade

I would think the way to determine the "best" of the decade would be to surmise which show would win if all ten (eleven thanks to 2000) were to compete against each other on the same night with the same set of judges. Of course that's not really what this is about, is it? Our opinion is going to be the one that really matters, right?

Cadets 05. Total package like I've never seen before.

HM to cavaliers 02...such a powerful and well refined brass line.

1. 05 Cadets- won every caption. great design. flawless execution.

2. 02 Cavaliers- percussion is what kept this from my #1.

3. 03 BD- best BD offering of the decade.

4. 09 BD- history will vindicate this show.

5. 00 Cadets/Cavaliers- so hard to separate these two. both are appealing on so many levels.

6. 06 Cavaliers- GE monster.

7. 07 BD- top of the heap in a very competitive year. the cream rises to the top.

8. 08 Regiment- sigh... What can I say that I haven't said before.

9. 01 Cavaliers- underrated show.

10. 04 Cavaliers- weakest visual package to win until Spartacus came along.

Well I said I would announce the best show of the decade after 100 votes, and the winner is 2008 Phantom Regiment "Spartacus".

It may not be as clean as BD was last year or Cadets 05, but it WAS one hell of a show. Everyone loved it!

2002 Cavies. The best out of a bunch of GREAT shows - Except 2005 Cadets. That was just bando with a capital B.
