Better to stick as close as you can to the choral piece on this one. Hopefully each repetition of "my son" can be clearly articulated with more practice. This run loses that pulse around the 1:15 mark. I've been waiting for someone to do this for years. Exactly. I heard the Mandarins play their arrangement of this in the lot a few times this summer, and while the arrangement still wasn't that great (it was the same segment), at least it ended on the correct chord and not the way BS are ending it. I have no idea what the Blue Stars have... but it is definitely better than what the Cadets used. The poster I quoted wanted to say that the Blue Stars are going to blow Cadets out of the water, and I didn't really think that was fair based on a minute of music recorded at very different quality. Appleknocker Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 Gheez,...a few corps put a few clips of practices, ensembles, ditties, interviews with members ,etc.,....and some people are making placements and predictions from them. I thank all the corps that give us little bites to help me through the long winter. I also thank WGI for my winter entertainment fix. Give everyone a break and stop being so critical of everyone in March. I know that Madison,Colts, Cadets, Blue Stars and every other corps is doing their best to entertain us and compete in 2010.
