Yes!

Times change... corps go through generations of changes. What if DCP existed 40 years ago and someone posted a similar poll to say, "would you go to dci finals if these corps were the top 12?" and listed corps like crown, bluecoates, cavies, phantom and listed "corps that don't exist yet"...

I think the face of DCI is going to change significantly over the next 20 years and at that time we could look back and think something like "yeah, remember that corps from such-n-such city that won DCI in the 2000's? what ever happened to them?

So... yeah, of course I'd go, no matter who is in. Not having a championship corps from the past in the finals doesn't mean that the talent and design of what IS in finals is going to be lower or less than it was in the past.

I would go even if the former champions transubstantiated this weekend due to their attaining perfection on this plane of existence, leaving the others at their own current level of attainment.

Mainly because I think all those corps have pretty darned entertaining shows right now.

But the venue will keep me from going regardless of the lineup. I don't do drum corps in a dome.

If the 12 best shows are the 12 best shows, and you want to see the twelve finest corps, I don't see why you wouldn't go if you're a fan of drum corps.
