kevingamin
Pioneer's drum line coming onto the field, along with the brass trio which starts the show. Brass line is set behind the black curtains up front.
kevingamin
Crowd clapping along with the pit as they start playing. Heck, even the judges are joining in up here.
kevingamin
Mello player in the trio is really wailing tonight. Get ready for the first big hit...
kevingamin
Didn't see the movement the drums do while the horns are wailing. Fun to watch. Big opening. Now, follow it up with Make His Praise Glorious.
kevingamin
Still having problems keeping straight liners, and this show has a LOT of those. Very exposed drill. One of the judges is bobbing his head during the first statement of the chorus. So am I.
kevingamin
I still don't like the single narrator of the corps prayer. I actually wish they'd work it so the corps as a whole could say it. It's the CORPS prayer, after all. Think of Cadets reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in '02 and you get what I'm thinking. Not as powerful at the end of Praise. Crowd likes it, but the corps has to play to the end of the phrase as well as the song. Wait, they added MORE narration? We got the point the first time, guys. kevingamin
Excellent job by the trumpet soloist in The Prayer. Very expressive. He gets the music for sure, and so do we as a result.

kevingamin
Nice crescendo to the release before the closing duet.
BRASSO
Hopefully INT will fold and we won't ever have to read about it again. Ever. I have it on good authority however that they will soon be starting a " feeder " corps.
