Um, no. A compound fracture is actually quite nasty.

I was going to say the same thing. Healing time for even a simple ankle fracture is usually 6-8 weeks and then a few months before one can return to vigorous physical activity. I wish Ryan all the best but it's going to be quite the rehab session. Just ask Tyrone Prothro.
