Lincoln
I agree Juliet should not be carrying a rifle as much I would like her to. Hard to say in this activity with everything going on with guards - after all, Spartacus spun a rifle and wore a historically-accurate (?) pair of go-go boots... kdaddy
I just watched the Walnut VOD from July 2, and I didn't notice anything strikingly new about the ballad. Am I missing something?

KC is no more responsible for the Spartacus design than Bill Cosby is for Jersey Shore.
rkfdPRphan
Go look at Phantom's score for tonight's show!!! NEVER count Phantom out! Can't wait to see them in Minneapolis.
chaos001
That Music Ensemble score scares me.
Directorofbands
I just watched the Walnut VOD from July 2, and I didn't notice anything strikingly new about the ballad. Am I missing something? The introduction of Juliet to Romeo in the transition into the ballad is more focused. The corps and the music stop while the bass drum "heartbeat" helps draw the focus to the two characters. It works a lot better and helps the audience follow the two characters through the first part of the ballad. Subtle but effective. I'm looking forward to changes that could be added next week during the 4 rehearsal days going into the Minnesota show.
rkfdPRphan
Wow, another good show, this time in Loveland, CO. Another win! There was so much anti Phanton junk posted in the Loveland thread! Wanted to fire back - but scores speak louder than words! Congratulations Phantom Regiment and do it even better in Denver!

connorthemello
I'm in love with Phantom's show this year.. it's so lyrical and it just flows so well. I can't think of a thing about it I don't like.
