jjeffeory
As it applies to taxes, that is my money which is allocated by the government for their specific uses not the governments money to do with as they please; so I certainly want to know how much the government is taking out of my pocket. Good luck with telling the government that... They spend money on tons of crap I don't want, need, desire, or require...
Russellrks
I used to avoid convenience fees by going directly to the venue and purchase my tickets there, but now even they charge convenience fees.
DanjrusMcRynky
The fees are getting harder to get around. It seems ticketmaster has agreements with venues so that they won't be undercut. Just today I bought $36 tickets to a show (not DCI), and had to pay over $16 in fees on top of that. After taxes and whatnot, I paid about $55 per ticket. And I agree with the remarks about the airline fees. Their ticket prices fluctuate so often that you would think they could just raise the price the "required" amount without anyone even noticing.
