Stryfe
Basically all of the pieces that I listen to in my Contemporary Listening Lab class every year. Although, I really wish someone would try to adapt some Arvo Pärt for drum corps. They'd be hated if they did it genuinely, but some pieces like De Profundis could make for a pretty striking ballad. Easy, get a great synth player and keyboard patch and have everyone march around it. :)
The Other Mike
That would actually make for a sicknasty pit feature! I was thinking the same thing and somewhere around page 8 to 12 in my mind I saw a great multi tom feature with great visuals. Reminded me of Bleu Raeders 72 tim tom feature played at 78 instead of 33 1/3

Didn't Hoppy get this years show idea from PDQ's <something> for two unfriendly groups of instruments ?

Oh, that is absolutely magnificent! Maybe we could get a pit to play it as an encore tune. (The Grand Pause about a minute towards the end would be useful for everyone to get back on board.)
