Considering that year's line had a member from each of the following: The Cavaliers, Bluecoats, BD, Phantom, Crown and Xmen not to mention the 4 Texas All Staters. But because of the increased cost of contras, most corps keep them much longer than they keep other instruments. Usually, a trumpet or mellophone gets replaced every year, baris are euphs are usually every other year, from my experience, and contras can be around three to four years.
