FaustianMachine
This thread is to keep the drum corps flowing until next June. The rules: I will begin with a question. Whoever answers the question correctly gets one point and gets to ask the next question. Simple. You peoples get the gist, so here we go: Question 001: What corps was the first to spell a word on the field? jimwolf359
Blessed Sac Golden Knights and Blue Rock Correct! Blessed Sac folded after the 1972 Season. Blue Rock's best finish was 16th in 1974 and they folded after that season.

Simplex Minutemen, Gardner, Ma.... named after the Simplex Sawmill Co... made paper, furniture, time recorders, clocks, etc from wood. LoveKathyG
Simplex Minutemen, Gardner, Ma.... named after the Simplex Paper Co. Good try, but I'm going to have to say no. They were named, according to Wiki, after the Simplex Time Company, which first made clocks and now safety systems.
