TomPeashey
So, most everyone in the East felt an earthquake a few minutes ago... I didn't feel anything east of Rochester but my son-in-law (Empire's Perc Arranger) in his office 9 miles south shook bad enough to get them to evacuate... and we're a long way from VA where it was centered... Anyway, everyone in CA and Seattle are going "HO HUM" 5.9 won't wake you up... but it woke up the whole east coast where no one can remember one that strong... Kay
I work in the Paramount Building on Broadway in Times Square - definitely felt it - odd to say the least............. We did not evacuate, but many buildings downtown did and so did Roc Center.

Jeff Ream
definitely felt 2 hours north of DC. I blame the Renegades, just cause they've been so quiet this year
Ray Priester
No biggie, really, although it did get your attention in the building where I work at the College of Staten Island. We've had stronger. About 30 years ago we had one that went through S.I. and Brooklyn very early on a Sunday morning that really shook the house and got all the dishes rattling. That one really caught my attention. Thank God no major damage and no known injuries resulted from today's tremor. Ray
