Best Uniforms in 2011

Which corps do you think had the best uniforms this past season?

Here's how I'd rank some of my top favorites this year:

1. Blue Devils

2. The Cadets

3. Bluecoats

4. Cavaliers

5. SCV

1. The Academy

I was very, very dubious when I saw the first pictures, but when finally saw them in person I was amazed. They work perfectly and look sharp on the field.

2. Phantom Regiment

Simple, elegant white with black highlights that really made the uniform "pop." Reminiscent of the 1993 unis, which I still think is Phantom's best look.

3. Spirit of Atlanta

Took me a season or so to adjust to the new look, but I really think these uniforms look sharp.

Honorable Mention: The Cascades, for having the cojones to wear those bright green plumes (which looked awesome, I might add).

I think as far as new uniforms are concerned, The Academy had the best one. I was skeptical at first, but they look outstanding on the field.

All of these have very crisp and unique features that

really set them apart.

In the past two seasons not a single other corps' uniform has matched their show concept so completely *without* sacrificing the corps' identity at all.

The uniform design is genius. It bridges 'costume' and 'uniform' brilliantly.

I think as far as new uniforms are concerned, The Academy had the best one. I was skeptical at first, but they look outstanding on the field.

I agree. They look terrible up close but decent on the field.

Are you serious? Try to not let your bias show so evidently, Crown's uniform this year was the ugliest of the top 12.

I'm sure everyone has their own opinions on it. I personally didn't think it looked too great, but it did go perfectly with their theme while they were able to keep the same-ish uniform style.
