Drum Corps based clothing line?

Recommended Posts

So over the summer this came to me, do you think a company would ever make a DCI rehearsal clothing line? Like light clothes that will last through rehearsals that can be taken in the showers and dried quickly to cut down on smell. I can imagine a company displaying this at a finals tent and getting a lot of sales... I would buy.

Do you realize how many millions of dollars you just gave away by posting this on a public forum?

Good luck competing with http://www.underarmour.com , which is basically what you just described.

All you have to do is make something like under armour, but that's actually comfortable to wear.

From what I read this summer, there were more shirt rehearsals this past summer than usual. Stephanie, the blogger for Regiment this year, mentioned it a few times.

How do you sell a shirt to people who don't wear shirts?

Something breathable with a U/V barrier that can be marketed as reducing the risk of melanomas down the road.

New DCI rules require you to wear a shirt inside housing sites and around food areas (food line, while eating). Even though thats the only time I wore a shirt, most of my clothes were covered in sweat and sunscreen.

Under Armour is rediculous. I dont want to pay $40 for a shirt that is pretty uncomfortable... Maybe something like this...

Maybe...

But add a name plate to distinguish yours with corps colors and logo.

Uh...it wasn't a DCI rule, despite what some corps members were told.
