Michael Boo
Not so fast my friend. Like Boo, I too have a peeve about misplaced apostrophes. Almost any word that ends in an "s" is a candidate for the misplaced apostrophe, it seems. I had a smarmy retort all typed up yesterday.....but, since it was Christmas, I deleted it. Boo, on the other hand, did hit the Add Reply button. Hey; it's no longer Christmas!

Sir: While the misplaced apostrophe might be problematic and a cause for some concern, may I suggest that that the situation is far less egregious than one which may arise from a missed period. 2000Cadet
The Happy Holiday's what? Sorry, the grammarian in me couldn't let that past. But in the spirit of Christmas, I'm going to turn away. At least you didn't spell Bluecoats as two words. Don't you mean "pass"?

Michael Boo
Don't you mean "pass"? I edited my response in a feeble attempt to make it look like I really meant "past." No one will get hurt if everyone just goes along with the flow.
