Ch1k3n
Yea, nothing like handy-cam and cell phone microphones to really make the sound come across accurately. well you can sorta get the gist of it... you can still hear enough. so they do sound better in person? would they be suitable for concert use? They sound great in person. No, you wouldn't use it in a concert setting...it's a shoulder-mounted marching horn.

Personally playing on a SB Tuba, it's an amazing horn. And as for using a MARCHING HORN In a concert setting, the horn is built to be played in a marching setting. I wouldnt use it unless you absolutely don't have a concert horn.

Contra94
sure it's an amazing marching horn, but what holds you back from using it in a concert setting? Well, In a Concert Setting, I don't want to have a 25lb horn on my shoulder, I would rather use my Kanstul Concert Tuba sitting on my lap. And for better tuning purposes (moving the tuning slides), Instead of using the kicker all the time, I prefer using the actual valve's tuning slides when playing. Kamarag
sure it's an amazing marching horn, but what holds you back from using it in a concert setting? You do not want a directional horn in a concert setting.
NewTuba2011
I had one of those monsters at camp. They play well, but they are heavy!
Penn State
You do not want a directional horn in a concert setting. I'll be "That guy"... So.... Cornets Trumpets Trombones bell forward euphoniums Flugel horns are undesirable horns in a concert setting due to the fact they are all 'directional' in nature???
