supersop
Is it just me or did Legends feel stronger than that? Total package.
kevingamin
Sounds like somebody needs to WD-40 something down there.
John Davis
First time I've seen this show. It was alright. The brass could put in a lot more emphasis and meaning in some parts of the show...sounded a little weak. Drumline has a lot of notes and are sounding pretty good! I'll have to see them again. kevingamin
I thought the entire musical design was incredibly generic. As if they bought a generic band show, then showed in some "Japanese-y" stuff to fit what they said their theme was. Visual design was actually pretty good, especially given the limitations on the guard due to size. Especially considering the ballad was from Kung Fu Panda, a movie which takes place in CHINA and has nothing to do with the Shinto religion. TerriTroop
Just got home and got the laptop hooked to tv - I'm loving the hi definition quality!!! Enjoyed the last of Cascades show - keep cleaning and working! Drums sound good, horns rough in faster passages but give them a couple more weeks and the stamina will kick in. Kevin.
Haven't seen this show since Orlando and I thought it was really good. I'm excited to see how they've progressed

Kamarag
Especially considering the ballad was from Kung Fu Panda, a movie which takes place in CHINA and has nothing to do with the Shinto religion. Chuckle. Reminds me of Fusion Corps last year. Theme was Africa, but used a bunch of American wind band music as the source material. Then shoved in the most stereotypical and clichéd "African" groves (which were actually Cuban), "African" dress (that was actually middle-eastern), and "African" chants (that were not African).
