InspaDave
Welcome to the Jungle as an opener, and perhaps Ice Ice Baby as a ballad. What would you have them play
skajerk
"Hot For Teacher" HAS to be in the show! Best version I've heard. Almost better than the original!
Jeff Ream
too cheesy
InspaDave
too cheesy Isn't that word forbidden? Fifteen yard penalty and loss of down for you.
InspaDave
"Hot For Teacher" HAS to be in the show! Best version I've heard. Almost better than the original! I just listened to that again and it reminded me how absolutely awesome his band is. There is a lot of good stuff going on behind him. Kamarag
The problem with Richard Cheese (who I love), it that he just puts his own spin on the music of others. I'm down if Surf wants to follow suit, but they don't need a "third party" to do it. Edited August 17, 2012 by Kamarag
CrownBariDad
Interesting: Jersey Surf just posted on their Facebook page a request for show ideas. After an hour, already have 50 comments.
MotorCityMusician
What if every year they had a contest to come up with a show and the winner get tickets to finals and to hang out with the group. Crowd favorite right there.
Guizeppe
Though I'm a fan of Dick Cheese, I don't think his renditions are quite thick enough. Bobby Ricotta however is tremendous on the keys. Perhaps Surf could do a tribute show to a different corps every year: 2012: Bridgemen 2013: Velvet Knights (I know they still exist, but who would complain about two VKs?) 2014: Freelancers 2015: Suncoast Sound 2016: Sky Ryders
