Next on the field are the Connecticut Hurricanes from Seymour, Connecticut. Their 2012 program is entitled "Blokes and Birds" and consists of:

Rule Britannia (from King of Jazz)

Downtown

Georgy Girl

Windy

First Suite in Eb

Greensleeves

Water Music

Major Modern General (drum solo)

Crown Imperial

The Windmills of Your Mind

Fantasia on the Dargason

Turn, Turn

God Save the Queen

A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra

An interview from Kidsgrove after this show should be interesting.

If that is possible why didn't they already do that? Drum corps fans would have appreciated that.

Perhaps because it wasn't yet an issue ... and as long as the weather holds through the remaining 4 corps (one of which is on the field now) - there's no reason to make it one. Furthermore, we don't know that it hasn't already been done.

Let's give the DCA folks some credit, please.

God Save The Queen. Again, does Kidsgrove need to stand at attention?

One member of the pit has been in a British redcoat uniform the whole time, came out in front of the horn line to play a rope tension drum as they did a company front. Great moment.

Big finish to the show! A lot of fun with A LOT of music.

Mag 7 bass drum cadence as they leave the field.

AND here comes the rain HARD. We may have to stop the show again.

Actually they met last weekend. Kidsgrove did get to see the show then.

Maybe some day a grownup will explain the statement to you.

Then again, maybe not.
