BRASSO
Hey...mixing punchlines. I'll join in. The horse replied, "My therapist says I have a preoccupation with vengeance. We'll see about that." I've bet on losing horses that run around tracks that I wish had a lot more " preoccupation with vengeance in them", Michael. JimF-LowBari
Note... this was from a nationally syndicated comic ca 1974.... please don't tell me DC wasn't more in the public eye in the past.... Have another one in the cellar ca 1978 just can't find it right now... :sad:/>/> OK haven't had time to look for the other comic strip but think I remember everything but the title. Didn't last as long as the strip above which was called "Redeye" (and you wonder why the strip ended). Strip was set in Roman times and first panel was two lions in the Coliseum getting ready to face the gladiators. In the second panel one lion has left and the lion that didn't go out looks horrified as bunch of sound effects *CRASH* *BANG* etc are around him. Third panel has the lion that went out coming back and the other sez "*gasp* you're OK, but what was all that noise?". Last panel has the answer "Pompeii Drum & Bugle Corps". Fran Haring
I've bet on losing horses that run around tracks that I wish had a lot more " preoccupation with vengeance in them", Michael. ( haha) I feel your pain. My choice for the Kentucky Derby last year is still circling the track at Churchill Downs.
BRASSO
How did we transition to Carolina Crown's "Triple Crown" show? Carolina Crown exclaimed in their closer ... " its a photo finish!! " When my horses finish, its usually too dark to take a picture, Michael.

I bet on a horse and in the 1st race it went out 25 to 1. The only problem is that all the other horses left at 12:30.
