What is the most economical way to travel to the Allentown area from the Philly airport?

Actually, check with former BAC going to Allentown, Maybe they can pick you up on the way? Maybe there are DCP'ers doing the same and you can all carpool.

I'd say, get a deal on a small & cheap rental car from Philadelphia. You'll need it around Allentown as there is almost no viable public transportation in the Lehigh Valley. By the way, parking at the Allentown stadium is not as bad as it's made out to be. Plenty across Hamilton Blvd. to the south of the park warm-up areas and Hamilton Family Diner.

My initial post was the Reader's Digest version. I've already sent in my volunteer request to work with the BAC from Sat. 8/1 through finals night. So one-way transportation to where the corps is staying in the A-town area will be needed and I'll return to Vegas on the 9th. If we return from MA in July, I might take Big Bird. Thank you

I prefer flying into Philly from Chicago, though I did fly into Newark once

I rent a car from the Philly airport for 48 hours, travelling 95 South for a spell, then north to Allentown
