Except that the line is spoken by Dick the Butcher, a follower of the rebel Jack Cade, who was postulating how best to overcome law and order so that Cade could somehow ascend to the throne. Hardly an insult to lawyers at all, when understood in the context of the play.

Indeed, Bard Scholar. That's why I said it would make matters worse. We need their advice, after all, to bring some degree of order out of the chaos.

No Bard Scholar ... just a lawyer.

I was stunned last week when I saw my lawyer standing on the street corner in an odd pose................his hands were actually in his own pockets!!! :omg:
