This poll is VERY meaningful. There really is no comparison with the predictions thread.

The question is simple... where are your interests in this year?

We can't really negate the question just by calling the leading responses the 'darlings'... because the whole point of the poll is to identify the 'darlings'... right?

The thread is honest with/to itself, especially considering the discussion from the Cadets thread about the presence of "hype" and how it is measured. Well, this poll (and one's like it) is the most direct answer to that.

If you reframe the gripe (but keep its essential meaning)... like this:

"well of course the popular/trendy corps are on top in this poll of who is popular/trendy right now..."

You see, the gripe doesn't really make sense.

I'll amend my statement: the poll (and the prediction thread) are meaningless in terms of their value as it relates to the finals results in 2016. That's what I meant (but didn't state clearly enough).

Anyway DCP is (mostly) entertainment.
