2nd year in a row for Welcome to the Machine. Radiohead works well on the drum corps field.

New hot take: Trombones work in drum corps, but you have to stage them in a way where they don't get lost in the sound of the rest of the horns. Otherwise, why wouldn't you stick with baris for the whole show?

This is also the only time in the show where there is no member or prop on side 2 outside of the Ra tower in the back. I'm sure that staging is intentional.

Drum line doing what they do best. Some of the most unique writing in the activity.

Horn line breaks out of the pyramid props, leaving a solo member to genuflect in the direction of the Ra tower. Drum line break as the horns build the full pyramid props. Now they play backfield, winding their way towards the tower.

Indeed it does, but "welcome" is pink floyd; "exit music" is the Radiohead.

Sorry, I get the two mixed up when I'm typing fast. :D
